5/8/07, 11:00 AM --- Middleborough Treasurer's Office

This morning Middleborough Treasurer Judy MacDonald signed over the deed to two parcels of land auctioned to the Mashpee Wampanoag for $35,000 and for $1.7 million. Representing the tribe was Middleborough attorney and long time resident Robert J. Mather.

Aside from yours truly, others present at the signing were Judy MacDonald's assistant Virginia Matrisciano (pictured in first three photos), Town Manager Jack Healey, and Selectman Adam Bond.

Middle: Judy MacDonald accepting the check. Sorry for the blurry check.
I don't know whose hand was shaking, the treasurer's or the photographer's.
