Publishing your comments on articles

This email is subject to change. I am having problems with my new Verizon email account sending and receiving email from Comcast customers.
It seems t be the fault of Verizon.
Verizon email doesn't integrate smoothly with Mac computers.
If you have my Verizon email address you can use it, but if you use Comcast it may get bounced back to you.

Be sure you indicate which article you are writing about.

Unlike blogs where comments go online instantly, or are published as is after a moderator reviews them to be sure they meet content standards, Casino-Friend has a publication policy similar to the letters to the editor section of a newspaper. As with our previous general letters to the editor section, all comments must be signed and you must agree to have your name posted. In addition you must include your address and a phone number for verification. These will not be published.

Comments should not have spelling, punctuation or grammar errors. Run-on sentences and long paragraphs should be avoided. References should be cited and when possible the link included. Direct quotes of copyrighted material should not exceed 100 words. This goes for anything published on a blog even if the poster is anonymous. If you don't know for certain something is in the public domain, like a government publication, assume that it is under copyright. Note that everything on this website is copyrighted.

I reserve the right to do some basic editing such as a spell check and breaking up long paragraphs when necessary. I will also convert web addresses (URLs) to clickable links. I will not change the content of the comment.

I won't insult sensible readers with a list of the dos and don't regarding civil postings. Suffice to say that if you do not meet my standards your comments will not be posted.

There will be a time lag between when you submit your comments and when they go online. I plan to check my geocities email only twice a day.

Once your comment is published the links at the end of the article will be changed from COMMENT HERE | 0 COMMENTS to COMMENT HERE | READ 1 COMMENT
