Photo essay of the June 13, 2007 Selectman's Meeting

Inside the high school auditorium there was a standing room only crowd. The anti-casino forces appeared to outnumber the pro-casino and neutral groups as they held more signs, applauded the loudest, occasionally shouted, and had by far the most speakers.

However about 200 free pro-casino bumper stickers and welcome Wampanoag signs were handed out, though only a few were displayed during the meeting.

Rogers told the audience that he hadn't looked at the draft agreement yet and planned to read it over his coming vacation. He told this photographer after the meeting that he had a job and was too busy to read it prior to the meeting.
